The 2009 Arctic Open is coming!!! - - It will be Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009

Even when the weather is less than ideal, Central Ohio golfers have banded together to brave the cold and support community endeavors. The Annual Dublin AM Rotary Arctic Open is a well established and memorable golf event dedicated to charities that benefit the Columbus area.

Tens of thousands of dollars have been raised in the last 17 years and those funds have helped numerous charities, non-profits and community organizations. This year, monies raised from the Arctic Open will go to The Miracle League of Central Ohio and The Dublin AM Rotary Charitable Foundation.

It’s time to pick up the clubs and make a difference in our community.

Miracle League of Central Ohio

Miracle League of Central Ohio was formed in 2004 with the mission of raising funds to build a unique baseball field for children with disabilities. This mission was accomplished and the baseball field, fully accessible to all children who are disabled is located at Darree Fields Park in Dublin, Ohio.

MIRACLE LEAGUE OF CENTRAL OHIO

Funds from the 2009 Arctic Open will go to assist in constructing the Miracle League Pavilion.

The Miracle League is planning to build a pavilion, which will offier a safe & comfortable area for observation of the field for players, their families and their friends.

The Dublin AM Rotary Charitable Foundation

The Dublin AM Rotary Charitable Foundation has made a huge impact on not only the Central Ohio area, but nationally and internationally. Since February of 2003, the Foundation has given more the $325,000 in donations and grants to such causes like Cancer Awareness, Polio Eradication, Literacy Programs, Miracle League, Salvation Army, Operation SMILE and many, many others.
